Ca’ Pisani is the first Design Hotel in Venice, with Art Deco furnishings and paintings by Depero. Owned and run by a Venetian family whose members have been hoteliers since 1908.
Set in a 14th-century building, this upscale art deco-style hotel is a 15-minute walk from the 12th-century Piazza San Marco, a stroll away from the modern art museum “Peggy Guggenheim Collection”. The byzantine shipyard “Venetian Arsenal” is 2 km from this accommodation. Ca Pisani is located a few steps away from Academy Bridge.
We were received by one of the owners of the Hotel, Mrs Marianna Serandrei, she was very excited to see the matchbox art. The Hotel has invited us to show along with its private art collection 20 of our Matchbox art work and they are now being exhibited on the second floor.
